I am a designer and a dressmaker. Here's what you can expect: when you contact me, I'll want to know all about the project you want me to work on. If its something I can do, we'll set up an appointment to meet here in my studio. We'll discuss the specifics, and I'll do some sketches until we're both happy with the design. I will be able to give you a cost estimate for the project within a few days. If the price is within your range I'll get started. Several fittings will be necessary, depending on the complexity of the garment.

I generally ask for six to eight weeks lead time for any project, six to eight months for a wedding gown. I charge a small fee for the initial visit. If we decide to work together this goes towards the costs. If not, it pays for the time we've spent.
